Note before uploading file

  1. For design patents, make sure to remove company names, insignia, logos, etc., which are typically not included in design patent drawings.
  2. Check with the CAD creator to make sure the files are 100% prepared and finalized, as there are NO REFUNDS. While the files are modifiable, the purpose of this tool is to SAVE you time.
  3. The Pinch output includes PDF and Vector-based DXF modifiable files. DXF files can be opened in Visio, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, etc., but make sure your internal software can utilize DXF files.
  4. Pinch Converter uses are non-refundable. Check out our FAQ below to learn about our system before using. Of course, legitimate processing problems will be handled, but refunds will not be issued if the system operates as expected.

The plugin supports the following file types:

  • .step / .stp (STEP files)
  • .igs / .iges (IGES files)
  • .x_t (Parasolid Model Part File)

You can purchase tokens from the Token Shop. Once logged in, navigate to the Token Shop page, select the token package you need, and complete the purchase. You can purchase a single token for a single use, or you can purchase multiple tokens - in batches of five, ten, or 20 - at a discounted rate. 

Unfortunately, once you go through the effort of uploading the file and selecting the "Pinch It" button, you can no longer cancel the order as the backend Pinch Server is already in use and taking up processing from another user. 

You can check your token balance in two places: at the top of the upload box on the Pinch Drawing Converter page, and in the "Token History" page associated with the Accounts Page.

Your Pinch converted files can be downloaded in three places: 1) A download link will be presented if you stayed on the Pinch Converter Page; 2) A downloadable link will be e-mailed to you; and 3) In the Conversion History tab of your Accounts Page. The Conversion History will permanently store your files for future use or reference.
